DAY 3
A pink salt lake... That's cool! Pink lakes aren't uncommon at all (I think Telly took me to go look at one once), but that doesn't change the fact that it's pretty. But more importantly, there's a whole new ecosystem for me to document here.
Like the rest of this island, the lake is a lot more expansive than I imagined. I tried walking around it, but I never made it to the other side. I'll just cross it instead.
Whenever I look at my reflection in the water, I feel really uneasy. Like I'm supposed to see something important, or come to a profound realization. But neither of those things happen...
I'll think about what that means later, I'm stalling and have work to do. Lake time!
